On December 14, 2000, an unknown white male between 45 and 60 years old was found unresponsive and later pronounced deceased in Gateway National Park. He was believed to be unhoused.
The unidentified man stood 5' 3"(63 inches) tall and weighed 94lbs. He had brown eyes and graying black 3" long hair, beard, and mustache. He had several scars, including a 2.5" scar on his right arm; a 7" scar on the midline of his abdomen from his sternum to navel; and a 16" vertical scar on his right hip, with a 1.75" horizontal scar above it. He was found wearing dark blue brief underpants; gray socks; a white t-shirt with multicolored print "extreme attitude"; a gray, black, and white pullover sweater; a red, white, and blue plaid shirt; blue denim jeans; a brown belt; a dark olive green jacket; and black and gray athletic shoes.
