Its been a long day without you Shirley, but we'll tell you all about it when we see you again.
Shirley and her son William

Shirley Harris "The Original Fashion Queen"

While here on earth, Shirley was full of life, fun and youth. She enjoyed being adventurous and she was a true fashionista.

She was a gorgeous woman with a beautiful personality and the most perfect dimples!

She grew up with her older sisters Roseabelle S. and Jennie Ann C. As well as her younger brother John Alston.

They were raised in North Carolina and often enjoyed bonding, driving and exploring areas around them. The sisters were true southern belles and John was definitely a southern gentleman.

Shirley liked taking photographs and experiencing what the world had to offer through her own eyes. When Shirley wanted a new experience, she went after it with no second thoughts and no regrets.

Shirley liked to travel and have fun. She knew the true meaning of life was to live the way she wanted to at all times.

Shirley was an amazing mother to 7 beautiful children whom she loved tremendously and forever gave them her undying love.

Shirley departed this earth in August 1983.

Left to mourn her physical presence, her 7 children and 3 siblings.

John and Rose (her sister and brother) have transitioned to be with Shirley while they leave behind their last suriving sister Jennie Ann who has loved them to their last surviving days and beyond. Shirley also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews, great neices and nephews, cousins and friends.

Shirley's lively spirit and unwavering youthfulness will forever live on. We miss her tremdously and love her even more.

Shirley, you are loved and missed by many.

Until we meet again.
