Leonore Sofie Sternett was born April 24, 1913. She became a naturalized citizen of the United States on March 23, 1944, in the Eastern District Court of New York. She lived with Victor Leo Sternett, likely her husband or brother. He also became a citizen in March of 1944. They made their home at 7666 Austin Street in Forest Hills, New York; and later at 735 Gin Lane in Southold. Victor was an attorney, practicing in Manhattan from at least 1953 through 1960.
Victor Leo Sternett died January 18, 1990, and was buried on Hart Island. Leonore Sofie Sternett died twelve years later on September 12, 2002 at St. John's Queens Hospital. She was also buried on Hart Island.
