Josephus Canonico

Joe Canonico was my cousin.  His mother, Ida Morgan (nee:  Damato) and my father's mother, Rose Vigliante (nee: Damato), were sisters.  Joey was always involved in something!  He would show up at my family home, at the most unexpected times, with gifts, and always with a nice word to say.  He would brag about this and that, and hint at all the money he was making.  It was all always a bit mysterious to us.  He worked on the Joe Franklin Show and was happiest at that time.  He has children, family and many friends and acquiantances.  I do not know why he is buried on Hart Island.  It is sad to have found this out.  I have also learned that his younger half-sister, Carol-Ann Morgan, is buried at Hart Island.  It is a sad ending for this family.  At least they are together in death.  God bless them both.
