John Monaghan

John Monaghan was born on Jan 17th, 1906 in the small village of Maguiresbridge in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.

John immigrated to the United States on June 16th, 1929 at the age of 23. He travelled on the steam passenger ship Transylvania, a ship owned and operated by Anchor Line. John became a Naturalized U.S. citizen later that year, in December 1929.

In the 1930s and 40s, John lived at 321 101st Street in Manhattan. He worked as a laborer.
