George Moton

George Moton was a very outspoken and very respected man. He made sure to impact everyone he interacted with on a daily occurrence. George has inspired and mentored many students at Mercy College. Along with inspiring his family members to always go above and beyond. George and his mother Mary Moton shared a beautiful connection. Along with his sisters and nieces. Every family function George brought love, light and grace! Unfortunately George’s time came to an end which has impacted many friends and close family members. George commonly known as “Timothy” or “Uncle Tim” we love you, we adore every thing you have done. Thank you for always being you. For all the good times we’ve shared with you. Keep watching over everyone. Loads of love, rest in heavenly peace. 

George Moton was a Bronx resident and community member. He was active in his building's tenant association, where he and his neighbors fought collectively for better building conditions.
