Florence Lang was born Florence McDonald  on Oct 15 1896 in
West Pullman, Chicago, Cook, Illinois, United States to Harry Walton McDonald born 1871 Utica, NY and Emma Maud McClelland born 1874 Oswego, NY. She was the oldest of two daugthers. Doris Majorie McDonald (my grandmother) was born in 1898 in Illinois.

Please note the death date, hospital and last residence for the Florence Lang at Hart Island matches my Florence Lang SS Death Index and her 1940 census entry.  I believe the wrong age was used that is why she could die down the block (lived one block from Flusing hosptial) while I was in my senior year in high school not hear about it.
