Constantine Magielnicki was born April 28, 1916, in Brooklyn, New York. His name was given variously as Constantin or Constantine, and his last name often as "Mogilinicki." He had at least two siblings, Edward, (who was born April 27, 1914), and sister Stella (who married Stanley Wisniewski.)
Constantine married Elizabeth McGrane on August 24, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York. Their son Raymond John was born July 17, 1939, also in Brooklyn. The 1940 census states that Constantine was working in a factory as a "fitter's helper", with an annual income of $1000. He only had a seventh grade education. When he registered for the draft during World War II, he was described as being 5'6" tall, 150 pounds, with brown eyes, brown hair, and a light complexion.
Constantine's last residence was given as Brooklyn, New York. He died on September 9, 1980, aged 84, at St. Vincent's Manhattan. On October 7, 1980, he was buried on Hart Island.
