Christ Abraham was born March 25, 1897 in Mahsotua, Turkey. In June of 1918 he was living in Canton, Ohio, where he listed his occupation as, "running a Taxi."
During World War I, on September, 1918, he was enlisted in the United States Army, in the 9th Company, 3rd Battalion, 158 Depot Brigade. He was honorably discharged as a Private on December 9, 1918, and was listed as 12 1/2 % disabled.
In 1920 the United States Census records him as living in Canton, Ohio. He was single, and worked in his own bakery shop. He was listed as a naturalized citizen. His native language was listed as "yiddish."
His last residence was 11432 Jamaica, Queens, New York. Christ Abraham died on July 8, 1983 and was buried on Hart Island.
