My mother Carmen Lydia Gonzalez finally found after 32 years. I love you and you will always be in my heart.  Mom what a journey to find you.  I feel at peace now that we your children know where your physical body lays to rest.  I look forward in visiting you at the grave site.  Mom you will forver be in our hearts and never be forgotten so until we see you again in heaven.  I finally finish my journey in finding you.  Thank you for all you did for us and giving birth to us.  Thank you mom for all the blessings you gave us.  We know that you are happy and there with the lord and our family members.  Thank you for always being our angel and protecting us and loving us from a distance.  I send you a big hug and kiss.  Never ever forgotten!!!

Your daughter "Carmen Luz"

My Mother you gave birth to me but I never knew you.  God placed me in different hands then yours and sent me on a different path then yours.  For many years I was afraid to know you.  Afraid of your illness.  With great sadness I watched my brother Frankie suffer your same fate.  He suffered in this life as you did until our heavenly Father took him home.  It was such a difficult time for me.  Watching my siblings stripped away from me one by one.  But God has been gracious to me.  He has calmed my fears, carried my burdens and given me strength to face each storm.  Today I can say this is my Mother, My birth Mother.  So now from a new found sister to a long lost brother.  Your children have come together finally to honor you and say thank you.  You gave us life and with Gods grace we are living it.

Lastly a special thank you to my son, your grandson Dominick who unknowingly set in motion the most amazing family reunion no one could have imagined or forseen.  I love you my son.  (((Hugs)))

"I once was lost but now I am found, was blind but now I see"-Amazing Grace

My mother suffered much in her life but it was not a life lived in vain. For from her loins God has accomplished much. She has two daughters whom any mother would be proud of (I am only speaking of the daughters that I personally know). The oldest of which Carmen Luz is a fiery young woman who refuses to give up on something that she feels strongly about. When no one knew how to find my mother, Carmen Luz never gave up. And when so many people did not even believe that I was alive, Carmen Luz never gave up. She found me and now our family is slowly coming back together. She is a woman who loves God and is blessed with an incredible positive attitude. Her other daughter Jo Ann has grown up to be a very intelligent young lady. She loves the Lord. She is married to a wonderful husband. She also has given birth to two wonderful children. It is important to note that not once since I've personally been back have I heard her say anything negative about anyone. Which leads me into my brother Frankie. My brother suffered from the same disease as my mother, and God mercifully called him home in 1999. I was not there and sincerely regret that I wasn't. But from what I hear he left us with a smile on his face. If he didn't, please don't tell me, let me believe what I want to believe. All that is left is me. God has led this son on a wild journey and blessed him with a Godly wife and 2 wonderful, wonderful Godchildren. He is an active member of a local church and is loved and respected there. He is happy and blessed.

So although my mother suffered much in this life, and was taken away from us at such an early age, she has been a blessing to many. For you see, without my mother there would be no Carmen Luz, no Jo Ann and therefore no husband for Jo Ann. No Grandchildren. No Frankie. No Jujy. No wife or Godchildren to be a blessing to Jujy. Not to mention all the many blessings these people have been to so many others.

The Word Of God says to honor your mother and father. And this is my humble attempt at honoring my mother.

Love: The son of Carmen Lydia Gonzalez
