We Found You! After so many years we now know. I am sorry that you were abandoned. Had we known it would have been so different. You would have been buried with military honors because you served your country and you sacrificed sanity and life for it. I miss you. I miss your burly laugh and your deep voice. I miss your hands and your big moustache. I miss your silliness. You were loved. I hope youknew that. Had we known what was happening we would have been there to take care of you and hold your hand. I am angry that we were denied that. But God knows everything. I love you, papi. I always have and I always will. Thank you for loving me and for always being that encouraging voice that I still can hear..."You are smart, Ruthy." "You are beautiful." "You are going to do great things." You will never be forgotten and I know you are with the Lord, no more pain, no more PTSD, no more tears. Until we meet again, papi.  Your daughter, Ruth

This man was my father. He has 5 children and 8 grandchildren. He served his country in the US Army and fought in Vietnam. He is a veteran of the United States of America. We have looked for him for years but were never contacted by anyone regarding his death and/or burial.

My heart is sad and heavy at the thought of him dying alone. He was not a perfect father but we loved him and his memory of cooking eggs for breakfast and his long mustache remain with us. We are thankful to have finally, potentially, found him and to know he is no longer suffering. Now that we have the closure we have been looking for we can move forward to give him a proper "send off" and to finally say goodbye.
