Arry Yermeny was born July 18, 1921, in Istanbul, Turkey, the son of Constantin and Efthalia (Exakastidi) Yermeny.
In December of 1942, during WWII, Arry enlisted in the U.S. Army, even though he was not yet a citizen of the United States. He had been living in Kings County, New York, and enlisted as a private when he signed up in New York City. At the age of 21, Arry was 5'5" tall, and weighed 132 pounds; he was single and had no children. He had a grammer school education, and worked in the industry of electroplating and galvanizing.
At some point after 1950, Arry lived on Keap Street in Brooklyn, New York. He was still living in Brooklyn just prior to his death.
Arry Yermeny died August 11, 1991, and was buried on Hart Island.
